Terms of Use

These terms apply to the 10Alert Mail extension, optional local companion and informational website.

Effective 18 July 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing or using 10Alert Mail, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Do not use the app if you disagree.

2. Provider and product

10Alert Mail is published by 10Alert. It is an email-productivity extension with an optional local companion, not an email provider. Google, Microsoft and IMAP/SMTP providers remain responsible for their services.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal capacity to accept these terms and permission to connect every account you use. You are responsible for device, browser-profile and provider-account security.

4. License

10Alert grants a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app according to its documentation and applicable law. Product code, trademarks and assets are not transferred to you.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use 10Alert Mail for unauthorized account access, spam, phishing, malware, harassment, illegal activity, bulk data extraction, resale of data access, or bypassing provider quotas, security controls and anti-abuse rules.

6. Third-party services

Gmail, Microsoft and IMAP/SMTP connections are also governed by the relevant provider terms. Features may depend on provider APIs, quotas, policies and availability.

7. Privacy and permissions

The app requests permissions only for disclosed features. See the Privacy Policy and Google Data Use.

8. Updates and availability

The product may change for security, compatibility or functionality. Beta features may contain errors or change before stable release. Vulnerable or incompatible versions may be discontinued subject to mandatory rights.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted notifications, permanent provider compatibility or complete absence of defects. Mandatory consumer guarantees remain unaffected.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, 10Alert is not liable for indirect loss, interruptions or third-party provider actions. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop use by disconnecting accounts, erasing local data and uninstalling the app. Distribution may be restricted for abuse, security risk or material breach.

12. Applicable law and changes

Mandatory law applicable to the user and provider governs these terms, and disputes go to competent courts under that law. Material changes will be published before they take effect.
